My Unexpected Journey Into UI/UX Design
I’ve always loved to draw since my childhood, but I’ll admit – I was never a great artist (haha). It was during my first year of university in 2018 that I stumbled upon the world of UI/UX design and web development. I was immediately fascinated by how websites worked, the creativity behind them, and how design intertwined with functionality.
Driven by curiosity, I joined a bootcamp in Bangladesh, where I dived deep into UI design, HTML, and CSS. The more I learned, the more I realized that this was the path I wanted to pursue. It felt like a perfect blend of my creativity and my growing interest in tech.
Fast forward to now, and I’ve built a career as a freelance UI/UX designer with a strong foundation in front-end coding technologies, from HTML to Next.js and beyond. What started as a simple curiosity turned into a passion, shaping the way I approach design every day.
Right now, my focus is on balancing what I love with challenges that push me to grow. I want to keep exploring new ideas and skills, embracing pressure as a way to learn and improve. In the future, I see myself blending creativity and curiosity in unexpected ways—whether through design, new passions, or simply living fully. For me, it’s about staying true to myself while pushing forward and embracing whatever comes next.
